Boo hoo, my torrent is slow!

Maybe you're new to the torrent world, or maybe you're an old hat and *something* has changed. Whatever the case may be, you're unsatisfied in general with your download speed. This article will attempt to address and solve the most common reasons for speed bottlenecks. I recommend that you start @ the start and work your way through...

Keep pressing "next" at the bottom of the page to work your way through each consecutive issue.

  1. Failed or improper port forwarding
  2. firewall issues
  3. Wrong local IP issues (somewhat related to #1)
  4. Header packet sniffing by your ISP
  5. Network throttling by ISP
  6. Too few connections (normally a sp2 issue)
  7. Blacklisted!
  8. Maxxed out connection
  9. Low # of seeders/leechers
  10. Fake torrent
  11. Local Network Traffic Bottleneck
  12. Spyware/malware/Virii
